Campus Area Neighborhood Association
Founded in 2020, the nonpartisan Campus Area Neighborhood Association (CANA) re-established a neighborhood association for the downtown area around the prior State-Langdon neighborhood. CANA was created to foster civic engagement, build community power, and advocate for people of the UW campus area. We have led numerous successful campaigns that produced real change in Madison, WI through events, presentations, and online petitions organized by our dedicated members. Our association brings everyday citizens into honest conversations with local decision-makers and helps get the voice of our neighborhood heard!
We work to ensure our community has the knowledge, resources, and opportunities to be a voice of change and power in our city. We see our campaigns as collective efforts, so we provide ways to connect and build a stronger collective voice.
The Campus Area Neighborhood Association built an environment of support and helpful resources to ensure partnership is always a priority. Our community's hearts, minds, and souls drive our success. Partner with us today!
Advocacy is an essential part of our association. Following the phrase "strength is in numbers," we work to inform and encourage our members to take a stand for what they believe in. Want to learn more? Email firstname.lastname@example.org!
A healthy association requires dedicated members, Outreach is close to our hearts. We believe the best solutions for our neighborhood come from the people. Join us as we build community power in the campus area!
