CANA is a signatory of the Downtown Neighborhood Coalition's Resolution to increase affordable and equitable housing options in our neighborhood! See details of the resolution by clicking the image below:

As of 2022, CANA has received a Neighborhood Grant from the City of Madison to increase our outreach and virtual presence! It is thanks to this grant that we are able to have this website, an official Zoom account, and other operational tools to use on behalf of the neighborhood. 

Steering Committees are groups facilitated by the Neighborhood Association regarding a certain development. A committee looks at different aspects of a development proposal and creates a report for the city's Plan Commission based on pros and cons that members compiled, ultimately informing the city of the proposed development's potential contribution to the neighborhood.
